5 Best Things to do in Glasgow

Below you will find my top recommendations for things to do, places to eat and where to stay for a day in Glasgow.

  1. Glasgow Cathedral

Be sure to visit the oldest building in Glasgow! There isn’t a fee to visit, unless you buy the mobile app audio tour, but I’d recommend booking tickets in advance

2. Cup Tea Rooms

I’d recommend making a reservation as the space fills quickly, especially on the weekend. The rooms are gorgeous to enjoy some high tea!

3. Riverside Museum

One of the best free museums in either city. The exhibits are all geared towards Glasgow and it’s transportation systems.

Walking through the campus is like stepping into a different time period. The campus has been used as a set for multiple Blockbuster Films.

Final Thoughts

Glasgow is rich in history being a Port City on the River Clyde. It’s easy to spend one day in Glasgow walking around the University Campus or lost in a Museum. I hope this list helps you as you plan your next trip to the largest city in Scotland.
